Neither pure dancehall nor straight-up soul, ‘singer songwriter’ nor pop troubadour, he embraces the best of Jamaican and British sounds by making musical magic influenced by both Islands and beyond. Blending his reggae-inflected vocal over R&B, dub and bashment beats, this talented West London performer is already winning fans including luminaries like reggae legend Dennis Bovell and Keith’s most famous offspring, Lily Allen.

Signed to V2 Records, over the last year alone Bobby has been asked to support Amy Winehouse, Sway, Damian Marley, Guillemots and India Arie. His official first single, ‘Silly Games’, out in July, is a stripped back cover of Janet Kay’s ’79 classic.
